Not only are concerts something I love, it’s actually my career and the most common question I get asked is “how many concerts have you been to this year?”. The honest response, I have no idea because I’ve never stopped to track it, but that ends today.
This list will be simple, it’s all the shows I’ve attended in 2026. I won’t be ranking them but will be providing a quick review of the show. Should be interesting, especially for artists I see multiple times.
- Lady Gaga
- Date – 2/28/26
- Venue – Dickies Arena (Ft. Worth, Tx)
- Work or Fun – Fun
- Quick Review – Absolutely incredible show! The stage setup was awesome and the crowd was in it from the first note to the final song.
- How long I stayed – Left before the final song to beat traffic
- Peso Pluma
- Date – 3/6/26
- Venue – Talking Stick Resort Amp (Phoenix, Az)
- Work or Fun – Work (Opening Show at the venue)
- Quick Review – Not a show I’d normally see, but the energy from the crowd / artist was awesome. Didn’t realize how much Latin artists were inspired by Polka. Not what I expected but a great show for sure.
- How Long I stayed – Stayed for the first hour
- Peso Pluma
- Date – 3/24/26
- Venue – First Financial Credit Union Amp (Albuquerque, NM)
- Work or Fun – Work (Opening Show at the venue)
- Quick Review – Second time around, but similar story. The energy from the crowd / artist was awesome and the weather was fantastic. Artist had a little less energy than in Phoenix but still a great show.
- How Long I stayed – Stayed for the first hour again, then left to beat traffic.
- Peso Pluma
- Date – 4/10/26
- Venue – Dos Equis Pavilion (Dallas, Tx)
- Work or Fun – Work (Opening Show at the venue… yes again)
- Quick Review – Third time around, last time this year. Weather was suspect as it started to rain halfway through but great energy both from the artist and the crowd.
- How Long I stayed – Stayed for the first hour
- Bush and Mammoth
- Date – 4/22/26
- Venue – Toyota Music Factory (Irving, Tx)
- Work or Fun – Work
- Quick Review – Didn’t stick around for Bush but Mammoth was incredible. I didn’t realize lead singer is Eddie Van Halen’s son. As they stated, they “just play loud rock”!
- How Long I stayed – Left after Mammoth, wish I would have stayed for Bush.
- Tyler Childers
- Date – 4/23/26
- Venue – Dos Equis Pavilion (Dallas, Tx)
- Work or Fun – Work
- Quick Review – Crowd was incredible and so was what I saw of the show. While not my style of country (to twangy for me) but I understand why people love him. Had a full band on stage with a great setup.
- How Long I stayed – Stayed for the first hour
- Goose
- Date – 4/25/26
- Venue – Toyota Music Factory (Irving, Tx)
- Work or Fun – Work
- Quick Review – Not a show I’d normally attend but “Big Boss” was in town and wanted to make sure everything went great. In terms of the show, I didn’t realize Goose was a Jam Band, but was a fun show though not sure I’d go out of my way to see again. Crowd danced the whole night including this guy who looked like he must have been Spicoli in high school. Unfortunately not longer after band took stage, started to get severe weather and they eventually closed the lawn (and shuttered the doors) but the show went on.
- How Long I stayed – Left after 1st set once I knew venue was all set and didn’t need any additional help.
- Dave Matthew Band
- Date – 5/9/26
- Venue – Dos Equis Pavilion (Dallas, Tx)
- Work or Fun – Work (but brought Emmy)
- Quick Review – It’s Dave so it’s always a great show but never know what you are going to get. Love that he doesn’t have an opener, just takes the stage and goes.
- How Long I stayed – Left after 4 songs, I had Emmy with me and it was past her bed time so once he took the stage, we enjoyed a couple songs and then took off. She was asleep before we got on the highway.
